    CAUV "Blitzternships" come to an end and manufacture of Barracuda begins

    This year, for the first time ever, CAUV has used summer placements to design a highly integrated AUV. The internships and UROP provided by ARM and Autonomy have allowed much more sustained design work than our termly blitz weeks.

    Out of this has come Barracuda, which promises to be the modular, miniaturised and easy-to-use vehicle design that CAUV has long aspired to. With a hardware design now highly developed, some first parts of our new vehicle are ready to be submitted for manufacture later this week.
